Tinseltown swimming in blood - Destroyer
Het lijkt er niet meteen op (getuige de lyrics) dat deze song echt te maken heeft met de #MeToo-opschudding die Hollywood in zijn greep houdt de laatste tijd, maar het had gekund. Destroyer is een in 1995 opgerichte band rond Dan Bejar van The New Pornographers. Het was toen nog een soloproject maar is intussen uitgegroeid tot een volwaardige band. Hun platen klinken vaak telkens weer helemaal anders. Ik hou alvast erg van deze song.
